Install

  1. 1

    Install the Plugin

In a terminal, install Zest for Freebuff. It needs Node.js, which you already have if you installed Freebuff with npm.

    npx -y --allow-git=root github:Winding-Labs/zest-freebuff install

Open a new terminal before you start freebuff. On Windows there is no wrapper — keep npx -y --allow-git=root github:Winding-Labs/zest-freebuff watch running while you use Freebuff.

  2. 2

    Authenticate with Zest

In the same terminal, sign in. A browser window opens to confirm the code.

    npx -y --allow-git=root github:Winding-Labs/zest-freebuff login
  3. 3

    Start coding

Run freebuff in any project. Zest picks up new messages within about 15 s and uploads them in the background; npx -y --allow-git=root github:Winding-Labs/zest-freebuff status shows capture, sign-in and sync.
